Hello. My name is Anthony Goulet. I am a transformational writer and speaker, the author of five books, and a member of the Authors Guild. The Dalai Lama wrote the foreword for my book, Street Outreach: Love, Service & Leadership. I do not write because I think I have the answers. I write because I am willing to learn.
My writing is woven together with love, prayer, laughter and tears, encouraging the reading to take the journey from the head back to the heart. Within my own lived experience as well as my professional calling of serving youth, young adults and families within the realms of suicide intervention, human trafficking intervention, homelessness intervention and emergency shelter services, I have witnessed too many miracles to be a skeptic. And yet, I have witnessed many skeptics who refuse to see their miracles.
Working full-time in prevention and intervention services with youth, young adults and families for over three decades, I know that no one is unreachable or unteachable as long as the heart doing the reaching and teaching is full of love, compassion and honor. For more than a decade I was on-call 24/7 as a street-level Gang Interventionist and Street Outreach Worker, serving youth and young adults who were homeless, runaways, missing and trafficked. During that time in my career, my full-time office was under bridges, within drug houses, abandoned buildings, and inside emergency rooms delivering the Creator's light of love, hope and healing.
My family and I reside in San Antonio, Texas where I work full-time as the Director of Training with an amazing youth-serving organization. I continue to write and facilitate transformational training and workshops with schools, organizations and communities throughout the United States and abroad.
